Description
In the framework of the "Post-conflict socio-economic rehabilitation program for South Lebanon", Amel's commitment aims at actively contributing to the social and economic integration of former detainees and their families, by ensuring them psychological support and treatment when needed.
The activities of this project are:

• Psychological counseling
• Psychotherapy services at individual and groups levels
• Awareness raising sessions and conferences targeting former detainees, their families and the local communities on mental health issues

The expected outcomes are:
• Former detainees are psychologically empowered and ready to take social and economic initiatives
• Members of former detainees' families are psychologically supported and able to manage psychological stress related to detention and/or occupation.
• Awareness and knowledge of target groups and communities are raised on mental health issues.
