Promotion of Women and Children’s Rights to Education, Leisure and Health

Duration: from October 2009 to September 2010 

Promotion of Women and Children’s Rights to Education, Leisure and Health is a one-year project recently launched by Amel Association with the collaboration of the French Embassy.

The project is being implemented at Amel centers in Beirut ( Haret Hriek , Baajour , Mousharafeyye , and Hay Sellom) and in the south ( Khiyam , Halta and Ferdis) . In general , this project aims at promoting women and children’s rights in Lebanon , more specifically , it aims at allowing women to become independent through their capacity building, improving children's creativity related to their rights , and guaranteeing the access to healthcare to underprivileged women and children.
